The reprint campaign for
JISOGI: ANIME STUDIO TYCOON (EDITION 1.5)
goes live February 3rd!
After a successful debut and more than 8,000 copies distributed worldwide, JISOGI: Anime Studio Tycoon is returning. This new release will be called Edition 1.5, featuring refined UI and streamlined rules.
This time, we are asking for your support to print a new version of the game, which we are calling Edition 1.5. We deliberately chose not to call this a second edition, as the core systems and identity of the game remain unchanged. Instead, this update focuses on improvements to graphic design, game balance, and the streamlining of certain mechanics, based on everything we have learned since the original release.
Producing a single, unified version of the game also allows us to reduce manufacturing costs substantially. Moving forward, Edition 1.5 will be the only version of JISOGI we print.

おかげさまで、ボードゲーム「JISOGI Founders Edition」英語版は世界中で完売となりました。これに伴い、この度ルールを刷新した新バージョン「JISOGI 1.5」のKickstarterキャンペーンを実施いたします。 本キャンペーンは英語版のみが対象となりますが、「JISOGI Founders Edition」日本語版につきましては、現在も公式オンラインショップにて引き続き販売しております。 すでにゲームをお持ちの方や、現在公式ショップで日本語版をご購入いただいた皆様に向けては、最新ルールでプレイできる「1.5版 日本語版アップグレードパック」を近日中に公式ショップにて販売予定です。日本のファンの皆様もスムーズに最新バージョンへ移行できるよう準備を進めておりますので、詳細の発表を今しばらくお待ちください。
Crowdfunding Campaign Details
The JISOGI: Anime Studio Tycoon – Edition 1.5 crowdfunding campaign launches on February 3rd.
Campaign discounted price: ¥8,000 / $51 / €43
We expect the game to be delivered to backers in Q2–Q3 2026. We will also feature very affordable shipping costs. The pledge manager will open as soon as the campaign ends to speed things up!
The Kickstarter version and the retail version of JISOGI 1.5 will be identical. Backers of the Kickstarter campaign will receive the game first, and their copy is fully guaranteed, as the game is printed on demand based on campaign orders. When buying from our crowdfunding campaign, you are also directly supporting us, the creators. By having a direct point of sale, our company grows much healthier.
Global Distribution & Localization
We’re proud to announce a new partnership with Good Games Publishing (Australia), who will become the global English-language distributor for JISOGI 1.5. We expect the game to reach retail stores worldwide in Q3–Q4 2026 (depending on the region).

THE UPGRADE PACK
for owners of the FOUNDERS EDITION
In this document, we detail all the changes made to the components and the rules in Edition 1.5. Owners of the Founders Edition can already download the updated rulebook and play with the new rules. If you would like to print the updated components and cards, we have also made them all available for download.
For those who do not have access to a good printer, or simply prefer a hassle-free option, we will offer an Upgrade Pack. This pack includes the new Trend Board, the updated rulebook, and all 40 cards that changed or received graphic design improvements, such as larger fonts, clearer triggers, and improved skill text.
The Upgrade Pack will be priced at $10, which only covers manufacturing and international logistics costs. We genuinely wanted to offer this for free, but unfortunately, the financial burden would have been too great for us to absorb. We hope you understand, and we truly appreciate your continued support.

ELDERTIDE CAMPAIGN END
The crowdfunding campaign for Eldertide: A Thousand Lights has successfully concluded with 1,462 backers—thank you!
Eldertide will be available as an add-on during the JISOGI 1.5 campaign. This will be the last opportunity to guarantee the Founders Edition of the game.
Both JISOGI 1.5 and Eldertide are scheduled to be delivered to backers in Q2–Q3 2026.
